Fragrance company turns video game characters into scents

By | July 19, 2012

Are you a hard-core gamer? Have you had trouble attracting the ladies? But wait, I repeat myself.

Well, in any case, now there’s help for you – a Connecticut company called Epic-Scents is creating a line of cologne based on famous video game titles, according to a deal announced at Comic-Com last week.

The company’s first product will be based on the blue robot Mega-Man, with plans to add more character fragrances shortly. So, if you’ve always wanted to smell like an Italian plumber, you’re just going to have to wait a bit.

There’s been no word yet as to whether the company will be producing a Duke Nukem cologne. What does failure smell like, anyway?
